Drunk Confessions

Seriously, what is it with booze, night and a mobile phone??

some booze down, the mobile seems to be an extension of your mind and messages seem to flow right from your mind to the outbox…

I am no more than a social drinker and this has been a boon on more occasions than one… as it ensures i get to see a lot of acts and confessions coming through from drunk friends..

Though many claim that they don’t remember their antics the next day, I am aware that no matter how sloshed you are, u wouldn’t really forget what u did .. this reminds me about something i saw on a friends wall few days ago, a simple text stating a drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts..

A couple of days ago, a friend of mine called during late hours, was she seeking advice, just venting her frustration or was she really confused? i dont quite know. As is the case with all my friends, she is a very nice and likeable girl who recently came out of a relationship and is now being heavily pursued as more people are aware of her status. She dint want to entertain the suitors and told me so , i advised her to the best of my knowledge and then she said something that really rang a bell.. she said for the first time that she realizes that only her ex truly loved her.. whether it was the intoxicants having their way in her, or was she actually stating her thoughts i do not know.. Surely there is more to it than meets the eye.. maybe its something even she is unaware of ….

The most common sight post a round of drinks amongst guys is someone remembering a lost love or a friendship turning sour. The explanations call for adjectives unheard of and relations are formed that never existed.

Some of the most common post drinks phrases i heard are:

  • Tu mera bhai hai
  • I loved her
  • Teri Kasam aisi ladki nahi dekhi
  • Bhai k liye jaan bhi haazir hai
  • Tu bata bas kaun hai …

All in all its fun to be a part of a drinking party, as long as you are in senses to enjoy 😛

Completely agree with you on the “not remembering anything in the morning”, No matter how drunk you are you are in someway aware of what you are saying or doing.

Being drunk is just an excuse !!
